Justice & Democracy Center of Minnesota now open

J&DC Staff

The Justice & Democracy Center of Minnesota’s St. Paul location is now open! After years of planning and work, and a pandemic in the middle to complicate the process, the J&DC is now open for student groups, field trips, educator groups, and the public to visit.

Located inside the Warren  E. Burger Federal Building and U.S. Courthouse in downtown St. Paul, the center is open Monday through Friday from 8:00am to 4:00pm, except for court holidays.

Come visit the space to view over 1,700 sq ft of interactive content on the role of an independent judiciary in American democracy and the importance of the rule of law. Learn about the framing of our form of government, landmark cases, jobs in the judiciary, roles in a courtroom, the naturalization process that immigrants undergo to become American citizens and much more!

A formal grand opening will take place this fall but the center is open now and eager for visitors. Use the contact form to schedule your visit today.
